The cannon xsi is probably your best bet and it is 12 mpx. If you want to save a couple of hundred get the xti. It is 10 mpx and shoots just as well. What it boils down to is what you are going to use it for.

ok i found two options that im leaning toward. the first is the 60D with an 18-135 lens for $ 1299. the second option is the 60D with a 55-250 lens for $ 1149. which is the better deal, and which is the better lens?

That is a brand new camera…the prices at all reputable places will be the same. Buy from Amazon, bhphoto.com, or adorama.com.
