This is a camera!

In comparison with the Nikon 300 and some items were better than Nikon. Nikon has a better exposure lock. Canon, the exposure time block after a few seconds, where as Nikon will remain locked until released. For what it’s worth, the Olympus E-30 Exposure Lock beaten on / off with one press button. Some will say HDR is more difficult than with 7D Nikon 300s, but there is a way around using the mode dial, which is pretty easy.

I want to upgrade my T1i for a while ‘time, but decided to wait until the 60D was announced to do something and then ended up buying a 7D shortly after the announcement.

I was waiting / hoping to see if the 60D had features I wanted for cheaper, but …. Nothing doing. I’ll probably still try to get my hands on a 60D when coming out to see how I like it and give it a review too, but for now I just want to express my great joy in 7D. If I knew this camera would be this good, I bought long ago.

I say that I am very happy with the camera for a very big reason: the autofocus system. It ‘amazing and better than any camera I’ve tried yet. Shooting a lot of action shots and wanted a camera that I could quickly reach a focus on fast-moving subjects. Someone who shoots first again / landscape shots, or you do not need autofocus speed can be satisfied with T2i or 60D for less money or very satisfied with the full frame 5D mkII. For me it was my decision between 60D and 7d done as soon as I heard the 60D had The Same autofocus system of the 50D – a decent nine points according to the type of autofocus system, but do not touch the 19 points in all sorts System 7D. I would have liked to see at least a slight improvement in the 60D than its predecessor.

The autofocus system 7D is nothing less than brilliant and I get close to 10 times the number of images used what I had with my first T1i. It allows you to select different types of aid are the 19 points. The 19 points of the system 7D covers the same ground that the 50D and 60D systems do, but offer more density in this area, which allows to use procedures such as expansion and point autofocus area. point expansion is used to control a fire, but if you can not reach focus is based, to a point, will look like in four neighboring points, too. The zone system uses sets of points to look for areas of focus within These two devices Have much helped me, where before I would be with one point and we hope to accomplish with focus, or to use a general point autofocus , which was not nearly as fast. In addition, the 7D a new feature autofocus path that will sharpen to a point a detail, which is much smaller than the standard single autofocus point. This helps a lot in pictures or still pictures of action where it knows where it is.

The autofocus system 7D light I sold almost immediately, but also a wide range of great features such as wireless flash control, a magnesium alloy (60D is plastic), a horizontal and vertical (60D has only horizontal), and speed for everything except AF system: looking fantastic. Provides 100% coverage and 1.0x magnification with a transmissive LCD. This means that what you see in the viewfinder is what you take a picture – unlike many other cameras cut edges in the view of the Finder. The transmissive LCD allows autofocus overlay zones / network points and when you look through – very useful.

Now my only negative about 7D actually be an advantage for many people: the size and weight. It ‘pretty intense and a person with small hands like me, the car feels big enough. A lot of people like the feeling of a great solid camera.

There are many features and aspects of this camera that I could enter, but for brevity I only say that I am very satisfied with the ISO sensitivity to noise ratio – even though I probably will not take too many shots and trying to stay above 1600 for the The rate below 800 to burst at 8 fps is great, but both this and the high-definition video, I would recommend a Compact Flash card 133x above. I used a 133x with results going well, but have overloaded the buffer of a couple of times. I would invest in a faster card soon.

All in all I am very happy with 7D and does not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants to take action shots of Nice.
